Everything before you decide

Do guests need an account?

No. Guests never create an account, provide an email or set a password. Joining just needs a display name.

Which phones and browsers work?

Momenti works in modern mobile and desktop browsers, including Safari on iPhone and Chrome on Android. If camera access is blocked, guests can still take a photo using their phone's own camera app instead.

Can guests use a code instead of scanning?

Yes. Every event has a private fallback code for guests who cannot scan the QR.

How many photographs can each guest take?

The host sets a limited number of moments per guest when creating the event, so every guest gets a fair, disposable-camera-style allowance rather than unlimited shooting.

When do photos become visible?

The host chooses the reveal timing. It can happen during the event, after the camera closes, the next morning or at a custom time.

Can the host remove photos?

Yes. Hosts can hide, restore, favourite or remove submitted photos from the event dashboard.

Who owns the photographs?

Photographs stay inside your private event, under your control as host. There is no public gallery or separate platform - see our Terms and Privacy Policy for the full detail.

How long are photos stored?

Event photos are stored for 90 days after the event date, then permanently deleted. Hosts and guests should save anything they want to keep.

What happens if camera permission is denied?

Guests can still take a photo using their phone's own camera app as a fallback - permission being blocked doesn't stop them from capturing a moment, it just changes how the photo gets in.

What is the refund policy?

Your payment is fully refundable up until the first guest joins your event. Once a guest has joined, the event is considered underway and the payment becomes non-refundable. Contact hello@momenti.photos to request a refund before any guest has joined.
